Context

For over two decades, Dr. Satish Ghanta was a trusted name in pediatrics through Little Stars Hospital. Families associated the name with specialized, child-centric healthcare. However, as medical science and patient expectations evolved, he envisioned something bigger — not just a children’s hospital, but an integrated ecosystem of care that supported both mother and child, from pregnancy through early childhood.
This vision gave birth to Little Stars and She — two world-class hospitals (Hyderabad and Rajahmundry) that merge pediatrics and gynecology under one roof. It was an ambitious step, requiring a fresh brand identity, communication system, and a launch narrative that resonated with both families and the wider medical community. It was an ambitious step, requiring a fresh brand identity, communication system, and a launch narrative that resonated with both families and the wider medical community.

The transition from a single-specialty pediatric hospital to a holistic “mother & child” healthcare brand came with multiple challenges:

  • Rebranding without losing trust: Families already trusted Little Stars for pediatrics, but adding gynecology meant repositioning the brand without confusing its core audience.
  • Communicating a first-of-its-kind offering: Few hospitals in India had integrated both disciplines so seamlessly – it required clear  storytelling.
  • Creating visibility at scale: With renowned personalities and dignitaries invited for the launch, the brand’s identity and communication needed to stand at par with its infrastructure.
  • Showcasing infrastructure thoughtfully: Beyond medical jargon, the design, interiors, and innovations like NICU, PICU, bone marrow transplant units, and unique birthing methods (including water delivery) needed to be communicated in a warm yet authoritative manner.

White Thoughts & Branding was engaged to shape this transformation end-to-end. Our
approach was three-fold:

  • Brand Identity Creation
    • Developed the name “Little Stars and She,” signifying the mother–child continuum.
    • Designed the logo and brand assets, balancing medical authority with emotional warmth.
  • Narrative Building
    • Crafted a holistic brand story: from “children’s hospital” to a comprehensive healthcare journey for women and children.
    • Developed films, print campaigns, and digital communication that highlighted both emotional care and world-class infrastructure.
  • High-Impact Launch & Communication
    • Created invitation videos and event communication leveraging Dr. Ghanta’s reputation.
    • Designed internal branding systems to align staff, visitors, and patients with the brand’s new identity.
    • Orchestrated PR and newspaper ads to announce the brand in key markets.
  • Logo & Brand Assets
    • A fresh visual identity that retained the legacy of Little Stars while introducing “She.”
  • Films
    • A warm introductory film narrated by Dr. Satish Ghanta himself.
    • Walkthrough films showcasing the interiors, technology, and patient-first design of both hospitals.
    • A Father’s Day film, extending the emotional storytelling beyond just mothers and children.
  • Event Launch
    • High-profile launch events in Hyderabad and Rajahmundry.
    • Chief guests included filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli and politician T. Harish Rao, creating visibility and credibility.
  • Photography & Documentation
    • Captured the hospital’s interiors, NICU/PICU, diagnostics, and delivery suites to build a strong visual library.
  • Print & Media
    • Newspaper ads and coverage that amplified the brand’s arrival.
  • Internal Branding
    • Designed communication systems for staff, patient waiting areas, and in-hospital touchpoints.
  • Brand Transformation: Successfully repositioned Little Stars from a pediatric hospital into India’s first truly integrated mother-and-child healthcare ecosystem.
  • Trust & Visibility: The presence of leading personalities and dignitaries at the launch created both local buzz and industry credibility.
  • Emotional Connect: Films and campaigns went beyond infrastructure, capturing the human story of care, motherhood, and family support.
  • Consistent Communication: With assets ranging from logo to launch films, the brand now had a cohesive identity across touchpoints.
  • Conceptualized, designed, and printed a wide range of marketing collaterals (brochures, flyers, campaign creatives).
  • Designed content-rich campaigns that positioned Haldi as India’s premium golf lifestyle project.
  • Planned Out-of-Home (OOH) and print ads with surgical precision — only in high-impact, strategic placements to maximize awareness and recall.
  • Integrated offline media with digital storytelling to strengthen conversions.
Little Stars and She stands today not just as a hospital, but as a story of evolution — where pediatric legacy meets maternal care, and White Thoughts played a pivotal role in shaping its voice, look, and presence.
